Mammo QC Monitor/Workstations

FDA QC Guidelines

Every mammography workstation that studies are read/SIGNED on needs to have regular weekly/daily QC with the specific SITE that the mammos are from. You MUST NOT assume that just because there are “Mammography monitors” that you are allowed to read any mammo from them – this is SITE specific. QC must be ongoing with the specific site where the mammos are coming from.
Also note that where you SIGN your report from shows up in your FFI report. So be careful if you have done most of your review from an approved workstation and SIGN it from home or other unapproved workstation – this will TRIGGER a review/red flag.
